Description
Labeled “Made in Italy for The Man at Ease”, this pair of mod 1960s men’s wool trousers is a perfectly unisex style that looks great on my lady mannequin! The herringbone patterned wool tweed fabric combines gold and olive green, with flecks of red and yellow. 2 silver metal zippers with round pulls add a 1960s rock star vibe to these tailored wool trousers. Both are functional: the diagonal zipper opens the fly and the horizontal one opens a pocket on the left hip. The pant has a low waist, adjusted by the sliding buckle and tab at the back waistband. The legs are moderately narrow, and slightly tapered to the cropped, ankle-length hems. The pant is quarter lined (in front only, from waist to hem) with off-white cotton. A colorful band of wide grosgrain ribbon trims the inside of the waistband. This chic pair of mid-1960s wool tweed, low-waisted men’s trousers are relatively small at 32-inch waist. They will also work well for a woman with narrower hips, as shown. The trousers are in very good, near excellent condition. The only issue to note is some lighter spots (probably bleach) on the cotton lining fabric only, not seen when the trousers are worn.
