Description
The ultimate Easter bonnet or garden party hat, this tall-crowned, Panama straw 1960s hat is trimmed with a whole bouquet of bright and cheerful flowers! The medium-width, slightly downturned brim has 2 subtle creases intentionally blocked into it, most visible from its underside. A moss green grosgrain ribbon band encircling the hat’s crown is nearly hidden underneath the many colorful fabric flowers. The high crown with its nearly flat top gives the hat a silhouette similar to the cloche hats of the 1920s. This 1960s hat is, however, meant to sit up high on the head as shown, not pulled down low. The lightweight natural-colored straw is unlined, aside from the emerald green grosgrain ribbon inner band. This inner band is a bit frayed at the center front, which is not seen when the hat is worn of course. In very good condition, with no other issues to note, this true vintage, 1960s floral straw hat is so pretty that you might want to display it as well as wear it!
