Description
A simply sweet 1950s white blouse in linen-textured rayon, this sleeveless spring or summer top has scroll-patterned lace trim on its rounded collar and front button placket. Tiny covered buttons fasten the blouse in front. The top 2 buttons are decorative, with the top section of the blouse fastened with a tiny shell button and loop under the collar, and the bottom 3 covered buttons are functional. Gathers at the front of the shoulders add a bit of fullness to the bodice. Vertical darts in front and back shape the waist. The hem is pinked below a row of stitching. The blouse is designed to be tucked in when worn, and will look great with your favorite vintage (or modern) skirts! The lightweight woven rayon is unlined and should be cool enough for even the warmest days. This versatile 1950s blouse is in very good to excellent condition, with one tiny, pinhole-sized, very faint mark at the top of the left shoulder—too faint to show up in my photos.
