Description
Made of very supple and soft burgundy suede, these 80s leather pants have voluminous, tapered legs and a pleated front waist. The circa late 1980s pants feature small belt loops on the high-rise, fitted waistband, deep diagonal pockets at each hip, and a clean design in back, with no back pockets. There is a horizontal seam across each leg at about knee height. The suede is fully lined with rayon or rayon blend satin in a matching shade of burgundy. The surface of the fine suede is covered with very tiny dots or pores, so I believe that it may be pigskin suede, although I cannot be completely certain of that. Regardless, it has a lovely feel and drape to it! The 2 pleats at each side of the waistband create a fair amount of fullness through the hip and thigh, which is gently tapered into a narrower silhouette from knee to hem. Clipped to fit my too-small mannequin, this pant will look much better on a lady with more curves to fill out the hips and backside! These luxurious, vintage 80s burgundy red suede pants are in excellent condition, with no issues to note.
