Description
Unworn with their original tags, this pair of lightweight late 1950s deadstock men’s silver gray geometric-patterned rayon blend trousers are the perfect rockabilly-style pant for warmer weather! The pant will fit approximately a 32-inch waist. The slightly shiny cotton and orlon blend fabric has a subtle pattern of rectangles woven into it. The pant features a no-waistband, Hollywood style waist with dropped belt loops, a pleated front with 2 side seam pockets, and 2 back pockets, one of which closes with a button. The pant is unlined except at the waistband, fly, and pockets. These never worn trousers are as yet un-hemmed, so they have a hard-to-find, extra long inseam that will be great for a taller person! The pant fastens with a metal zip fly and a snap at the waist. The lightweight “Rosewood” fabric claims to be machine washable (wash and wear, with minimal to no pressing needed), but I did have these true vintage 1950s trousers dry-cleaned for freshness after their long storage. Please note: although labeled a waist size 34 on the attached paper tag, the pant actually measures to a 33-inch waist, laid flat. This deadstock silver-gray rayon blend 1950s men’s pant is in excellent condition, unworn with its original tags.
