Description
This very lightweight, worsted wool, deadstock scarf from the late 1960s or early 70s combines 3 colors: burgundy, pale pink and cream. The reversible, color-block design features one side of all burgundy, and the other side of half pink and half cream. The extra-long, rectangular scarf has a narrow section of fringe at each end. The scarf is unworn, with its original tags from Saks--$26 in the late 1960s is about $225 in today’s money! It is in very good condition with one extremely tiny hole near one edge of the burgundy side (see close-up photo). The length of this fine wool vintage scarf makes it quite versatile! The soft, lightweight wool has a slightly open weave--not at all scratchy to the touch.
