Description
This tweed wool 1960s skirt suit in Easter-egg pastels shades has a fabulously fuzzy texture! The cardigan-style, hip-length boxy jacket and matching pencil skirt will give you a Chanel suit vibe at a fraction of the designer cost, and in spring-ready colors too! The jacket’s rounded upper lapels and its 2 slit pockets are edged with bubblegum pink knit wool. The shoulders are unpadded, and the straight sleeves are three-quarter-length. Diagonal bust darts give a hint of shaping to the otherwise boxy-fit jacket, which is fully lined with pink rayon crepe. The hourglass-fit pencil skirt fastens at the side seam with a metal zipper and a single button at the narrow waistband. It is half-lined, in back only, with pink crepe. The pink, lavender, peach, cream, yellow, and mocha, chunky tweed wool fabric is soft and medium weight, with a somewhat loose weave.
