Description
This circa late 1940s vintage cuff bracelet and earring set by Bugbee and Niles features elegant orchids and sparkling clear rhinestones on all three silver-tone metal pieces. The flexible metal filigree cuff bracelet will bend to accommodate a range of wrist sizes. Its outer surface has a much more shiny silver finish than its matte inner surface (see interior photo). The insides of the 3 orchid flowers also have a matte finish, in contrast to the brighter silver edges of their petals. The screwback earrings are stamped B.N., while the matching bracelet is unmarked. In very good condition, the set has some tiny spots of tarnish visible inside the orchid trimming the center of the bracelet (see in my close-up photo). I think it is unlikely that they would be noticed when this true vintage, late 1940s bracelet set is worn.
