Description
A bright orange crushed velvet mini dress from the early 1970s, this cutie features elbow-length, slightly puffed sleeves and an easy-to-wear, loose-fitting shape. The taffeta-backed rayon velvet has a fabulous, fiery glow under bright lighting. The only fastening is a single gold-tone metal button and loop closing the slit at the back of the neck, so the dress pulls on over the head. It is unlined. In very good condition, the dress has an area at the hem of the right sleeve where the velvet has faded somewhat from storage. I think that this will be difficult to notice, except under bright lighting like mine. Intended for a loose fit, the dress is smallest at the bust and shoulders, so please check those measurements carefully.
