Description
This late 1930s or 1940s tilt hat in navy blue straw is trimmed with cream or off-white roses at the center front of its indented, shallow crown. The hat’s brim is a bit wider in back than in front, where it curves down to hug the back of the head and help keep the hat in its forward-tilted position when worn. A matching navy eye-length veil is draped over the front brim, and tied in the center back. The hat is unlined with an inner band of grosgrain ribbon. In very good condition, this spring or summer navy straw 1930s-40s tilt hat has a bit of wear on the edges of its floral trim, although the straw body has no issues to note.
- Brim width: 2.5 inches at center front.
- Crown height: 1.75 inches.
