Description
This ruffle-trimmed 1960s sleeveless shift dress in navy blue features an optional sash to cinch the waist for a more defined silhouette. Flirty self-fabric ruffles frame the face at the round neckline and finish the knee-length hem. Diagonal bust darts and vertical darts at the back of the waist shape the shift slightly, even without the added sash belt. The skirt has a gentle flare from waist to hem, more noticeable when worn belted. The dress fastens in back with a nylon zipper. The medium-weight polyester crepe fabric is unlined, and has no stretch. Designed for a somewhat loose fit, the dress should fit approximately a modern size small, or possibly more tightly for a medium (see the detailed measurements, below). This versatile 1960s day dress is in excellent condition, and could be dressed up for cocktail/evening wear with some sparkling accessories. The fabric will not wrinkle easily, so it would be a great choice for travel!
