Description
This late 1960s or early 70s mod-style day dress features a bold herringbone pattern in black and white textured polyester knit fabric. The round neckline is trimmed with a narrow band of plain black knit fabric, to match the black trim running down the left side of the skirt, and around the faux wrap skirt hem. (The skirt has a wide overlap in front, but is not a true wrap-around style.) Black fabric-covered, decorative buttons trim the left hip in front, and a black skinny belt cinches the waist. The bodice has short sleeves, and bust darts for shaping. Below the fitted waist seam, the skirt is slightly flared from hips to hem. The medium-weight, double-knit polyester fabric is unlined, and has a bit of stretch (see measurements). The dress fastens in back with nylon zipper. This easy-care, easy-to-wear, late 60s-70s black and white patterned knit day dress is in excellent condition, with no issues to note.
