Description
This 1950s patio skirt in a fun shade of spearmint green has metallic gold rickrack and pink and white ribbon trim—a very midcentury colorway! The fitted waistband fastens with 3 hooks and eyes, above a side seam metal zipper. Below the waist, many tiny gathers in each tier of the skirt add fullness to its shape. (The skirt is shown here with a fluffy crinoline underneath, which is not included.) The lightweight cotton gauze fabric is unlined. The skirt is in very good condition, with one tiny spot near the hem, as seen in my close-up photo. The skirt was originally part of a 1950s patio set with a matching blouse. Although this blouse is sadly too damaged to wear, I will include it with your purchase, in case you want to use the fabric. I have shown the skirt in some of my photos with a white 1950s cropped cardigan, which is not included, but matches quite well and is available, HERE.
