This early 1990s camel hair belted maxi coat is luxurious, lightweight, and warm! Lighter in weight than wool, plush and soft like cashmere: camel hair coats are quite wonderful. If you’ve never had the pleasure of owning one, now is the time! This full-length coat hits at a few inches above the ankle on my tall mannequin, or below the ankle on me (petite). The rounded shoulders have large shoulder pads for a dramatic silhouette. The sash-style belt ties in front, for that trench-coated, vintage private eye vibe! The double-breasted coat has one set of functional and one set of decorative buttons. It can also be buttoned all the way up to the collar if preferred. Each wide, straight sleeve is trimmed with a decorative strap. The coat has welt pockets at the hips and a deep slit at the center back hem. The coat is fully lined in camel rayon satin. In very good condition, freshly dry-cleaned and ready to wear, the coat has one issue to note: a small, 2-inch vertical mend on the back right, behind and just below the belt (see photos). This is unlikely to be noticed when the coat is worn with its belt, but would be a bit more visible is you choose to wear it unbelted. This luxe camel hair trench style 90s maxi coat should fit approximately like a modern size small to medium or 6 to 8, in a regular or tall length. It is definitely too long waisted for a size 6 petite (me). It will keep you cozy warm while looking classically chic—the perfect way to step out in style this winter!

- Bust: 41 inches flat, to fit approx. 36-39 over clothing. Best to compare to a coat that fits you well, for most accurate sizing. The coat was originally designed to have a slightly oversize fit.
- Waist: 41 inches flat.
- Hip: 44 inches flat, to fit loosely for up to 41 max.
- Length: 49.5 inches from back of neck to hem.
- Back of neck to waist, at belt: 15.5 to 16 inches.
- Sleeve length: 23 inches.
- Shoulder to shoulder: hard to measure with shoulder pads, but approx 16 inches.
