Description
Quite small but quite fabulous, this pair of lightweight late 1950s or early 60s deadstock men’s blue fleck rayon blend trousers are the perfect rockabilly-style pant for warmer weather! They will fit approximately a 27 to 28 (max) waist, great for a skinny guy or a size S to M woman. The blue and white woven pattern in the rayon and Dacron blend fabric gives the impression of icy pale blue, at a distance. The pant features a narrow waistband with belt loops, a pleated front with 2 side seam pockets, and a tiny watch pocket at the right side of the waistband. There are also back pockets, one of which closes with a button. The pant is unlined except at the waistband, fly, and pockets, which are lined with white Dacron (polyester). The trousers are as yet un-hemmed, so they have a hard-to-find, extra long inseam that will be great for a taller person! The pant fastens with a metal zip fly and a hook at the waistband. The lightweight Washaburl fabric claims to be completely washable (wash and wear, with minimal to no pressing needed), but I did have these true vintage 1950s-60s trousers dry-cleaned for freshness after their long storage. Check out the cute washing instructions hangtag! Please note: although labeled a waist size 30 on the attached paper tag, the pant actually measures to a 28.5-inch waist, laid flat. This deadstock mid-century vintage, blue rayon fleck men’s pant is in excellent condition, unworn with its original tags. Sorry for the freaky color on some of my photos! My camera did NOT like the busy fleck pattern, but the pant has no stains or discoloration.
