Description
Kelly green, olive green, cream and navy combine to make a bold plaid on deadstock 1960s pencil skirt. The skirt has a fitted waistband above darts that shape the curving hips, and the hem has a small kick pleat in back. The lightweight 100% wool tweed is lofty and soft—it should be great for spring and fall, as well as winter. The skirt is ¼ lined (“inner-seat lined”) with lavender rayon taffeta in back only, from the waist to just below the hips. It fastens with a side seam metal zipper and a button at the waistband. Never worn, the skirt still has its original paper size tag, but I have had it freshly dry-cleaned. It is in excellent to mint condition, with no flaws to note. This bright green plaid 1960s pencil skirt is labeled size 24. If you are tiny enough, it’s a real cutie!
