Description
This ascot-length 1960s silk scarf in a fuchsia pink, lilac, and orange floral design is made of lovely, lightweight Thai silk fabric. Hand woven in Thailand, the scarf has hand-rolled edges. The wide rectangular shape can be tied as shown, or could be folded in half and tied, for a narrower look. The silk fabric is not double-sided, so it is a slightly lighter color on its reverse side. In excellent condition, the scarf appears unworn. I have 2 other Thai silk scarves (here and here) from the same lady, who was a flight attendant in the 1960s and purchased them on her world travels.
