Description
This darling c.2000s fascinator hat by Formé Millinery Co. features a tweed wool-covered circular base adorned with silver-gray ruffled tulle, tiny glass beads, and black lucite trim. The plaid wool tweed fabric combines charcoal and light gray with olive green. It covers the hat’s base, and is draped into a small ruffle at the front left side. The plastic-based tulle is formed into a tall ruffle, trimmed with small beads. A narrow band of black elastic helps hold this tiny fascinator hat on the head when worn. The hat was originally purchased from master milliner Jenny Pfanenstiel, before she moved her business Formé Millinery to Louisville Kentucky, and became the official milliner of the Kentucky Derby for the last 5 years in a row—congrats to her! The hat is in excellent condition, worn only once!
