Description
This ecru or light tan 1950s flat beret hat has a snappy feather trimming its “fishnet”-covered crown. The skinny, horizontal feather plume is close to the same color as the shiny ecru acetate fabric, while the mesh cord overlay (probably rayon) is a slightly darker shade. 2 flat-backed rhinestones trim the crown on each side of the feather. The triangular, wired pieces above each ear are covered in mocha grosgrain, and will help keep the hat in place when worn. The hat is lined with tan acetate satin. In very good condition, this true vintage 1950s feather-trimmed hat has a bit of wear to the tip of one wired side piece, and 2 tiny, very faint marks on the crown, unlikely to be noticed when it is worn.
