Description
A hip-length tunic top in 100 percent cotton, this sapphire blue deadstock 1960s blouse features cute contrasting trim in black, blue, and green plaid. The sailor-style collar with a square back comes to to a V-neck in front, above a row of 4 buttons to open it lower if you choose. Matching (decorative, not functional) goldtone metal buttons trim the plaid cuffs that finish the three-quarter-length sleeves, and the banded hem at hip-level. In back, the top has a subtly blouson shape, with several tiny gathers where it meets the banded hem. The medium-weight ribbed knit cotton is unlined, with moderate stretch at the bust and waist but very minimal stretch at the banded hem, where the ribbed fabric is turned horizontal, instead of vertical. The blouse is intended for a loose fit from bust to banded hem, so please bear that in mind when reading my range of measurements. This mod 1960s meets sailor style, blue cotton pullover top is in excellent, unworn condition, with its original hangtag: a darling figural design of a vintage washing machine!
