Description
This nautical style, blue and white striped oxford cloth cotton blouse from the early 1960s is a deadstock, unworn button-up top with a boxy, cropped fit. The blouse has a round neckline, elbow-length sleeves, and diagonal bust darts to slightly shape the upper bodice. The straight hem will hit at about the low waist or high hip, depending on your height. 4 pearly white plastic buttons close the blouse in front. The mid-weight cotton fabric is unlined. In excellent to mint condition, never worn with its original paper tag, this 1960s blouse is designed to have a somewhat loose fit, as reflected in my range of measurements. This versatile striped cotton top will look effortlessly chic with denim, wide-leg trousers, or a pencil skirt, as well as with more casual shorts or leggings.
