Description
This chestnut brown or caramel-colored carved Bakelite bangle dates to the 1930s or 1940s. It has a star- or flower-shaped design alternating with crisscrossing lines carved into its rounded surface. The inner surface of the bangle is a lighter shade of butterscotch. Not as narrow as a spacer, this relatively petite bangle is a quarter of an inch wide. This true vintage, 1930s-40s Bakelite bracelet is in very good condition, with a few minor scuffs to its outer surface from normal wear.
