Description
This blue silk and silver sequins 80s party dress will make quite an entrance at your next fancy event! The eye-catching metallic silver sequins are sewn onto the lightweight blue silk crepe backing in vertical rows, all over the dress. Large paisley designs with floral sequin centers allow the blue under-layer of silk to be seen. Tiny white pearls trim is used around the v-neckline, and along the edges of the zigzag points at bottom of the sleeves and the dress hem. These points remind me of icy flames—so fabulous! The matching narrow sash belt can be used to cinch the dress waist if you like, or you can leave it loose and flowing, in a more 1920s-inpsired shape. (The overall shape of the dress is straight from bust to hem, designed for a loose fit.) The dress is unlined and it has no fastenings, pulling on over the head. The medium-sized shoulder pads could be removed, if you prefer. In very good condition, the dress is missing some sequins in a few small areas (see close-up photos). I have checked the sequins that remain, and made sure that they are securely attached after I had it dry-cleaned. This fun 1980s-meets-1920s sequined cocktail dress will be the life of the party, and really shine on the dance floor!
