Description
This deadstock, cream or off-white unisex 80s t-shirt features screen-printed artwork from the 1980s comic strip “Bloom County” by Berkeley Breathed, that originally ran from 1980 to 1989. It probably dates from the early to mid 80s, based on the design, fit, and fiber content. The semi-sheer cream jersey knit fabric of the t-shirt is “Hanes Fifty-Fifty”, half cotton and half polyester, very soft and lightweight—that classic vintage tee feel! The t-shirt is labeled as a size small, or 34 to 36 inch chest, but please see the measurements for more details about fit. It is in very good, near excellent condition, deadstock/never worn, but with one teeny-tiny, faint mark on the front (see close-up photo).
Breathed revived the comic strip on his Facebook page back in 2015, publishing 3 books of compiled strips since then. In theory, an animated series based on “Bloom County” is currently in the works…we shall see! Meanwhile, you can enjoy the iconic characters by wearing this 1980s vintage t-shirt!
