Description
This open-crowned, early 1960s hat by Sally Victor resembles a tiny top hat in lipstick red straw and black velvet. The hollow, black rayon velvet crown sits just over 1 inch above the narrow red straw brim. It has a cute little red velvet bow at the center front. An eye-length birdcage veil, made of relatively stiff and wide gage black netting, finishes the look. The mini pillbox hat was designed to sit up high on the head as shown in my first photo. However, should you choose to wear the hat tilted at an angle as shown in my second photo, it looks darling that way, too! This whimsical 1960s hat is in excellent condition, with no issues to note other than some minor yellowing to the glue of the label.
