This strapless 1980s party dress combines colorful plaid taffeta with deep black velvet, and wraps it all up with a big bow at the left hip. What could be a more perfect dress for a holiday party? The boned, strapless acetate taffeta bodice is shirred or gathered from bust to high hip, with a nylon zipper fastening it at the left side seam. The narrow, black rayon velvet skirt has a center back hem slit. The bow is trimmed with a triple row of sparkling clear rhinestones. The asymmetrical plaid bodice has a diagonal hem that is longer on the right side, covering the hip. Both sections of the dress are lined with black acetate taffeta. The bold plaid and black velvet fabrics are the ideal combination for a winter party dress! This true vintage, strapless 80s plaid cocktail dress is smallest at the bust, so please check the measurements carefully. It has been freshly dry-cleaned and is ready to wear, in excellent condition.
