Description
These deadstock 1950s or 1960s shorts in black polished cotton are a classic, tailored style that can be easily dressed up or down. The shorts fasten at the left side seam with a metal zipper hidden in the left slit pocket and a single button. Vertical darts shape the hips in front and back, below the narrow waistband. The mid-thigh-length shorts have a relatively curvy, mid-century style shape, with a high, fitted waist, a long rise, and moderately full hips. The crisp black polished cotton fabric is unlined. In very good condition, these true vintage, circa late 1950s or early 1960s shorts were never worn, but do have one small manufacturing flaw in the fabric weave on the left front leg (see close-up photo). The shorts have belt loops, but no matching belt is present. They will look great with almost any narrow belt! I have shown the shorts both clipped and unclipped from the mannequin, to give a better idea of actual size.
