A truly versatile, day-to-night LBD in comfy and easy-care black cotton interlock double knit, this minimalist late 1980s dress will be the perfect base for your favorite accessories: statement belt, colorful bead necklace, sparkling brooch, or fancy cowboy boots—they will all work well with this one! The simple lines and comfortable fabric will also be excellent for traveling. The dress has a turtleneck bodice with a somewhat loose, blouson fit above the elastic waist, and tapered, bracelet-length sleeves. The mid-calf-length skirt is full and has pockets at each hip—hooray! The dress pulls on over the head, with no fastenings. The mid-weight, cotton knit fabric is unlined, and does have some stretch to it (see range of measurements). It feels a lot like a modern sweatshirt/hoodie fabric, in fact. This late 80s dress would be an excellent start to a vintage capsule wardrobe! It is in excellent condition.
