Description
A variety of African animals adorn the faux batik fabric of this 1970s novelty print polyester shirtdress: zebras, ibises, antelope, and some others I can’t identify! The print mixes shades of rust, dusty blue, and pinkish tan, on a white background. The long-sleeved bodice has fitted cuffs, a V-neckline with notched collar, and an inset waistband. Below the waist, the skirt gently flares to about knee-length. The back of the dress is gathered between the flat shoulder yoke and the waistband, and the skirt is also gathered where it meets the waist. Fun, rounded-square plastic buttons fasten the dress in front from neckline to hip, and also close the sleeve cuffs. The mid-weight, slinky polyester double knit fabric is unlined. This charming, animals novelty print 70s dress is in excellent condition, with no issues to note.
