This fitted black 1950s sweater in soft and lightweight acrylic will be a versatile basic, with a hint of mid-century “bad girl” fun! The V-neck pullover style has short sleeves. The sleeves, waist-length hem, and neckline are all finished with ribbed trim. The orlon acrylic knit is unlined, with some stretch to the fabric, and there are no fastenings. Deadstock, never worn, with its original tag still attached, this “sweater girl” 1950s knit top is in excellent to mint condition, labeled vintage size 40. Please check the detailed measurements below. Note: the smallest measurement is the sleeve opening, at the bicep.

  • Bust: 36 inches unstretched, up to 42 max.
  • Waist at hem: 28 inches unstretched, up to 33 max.
  • Length back of neck to hem: 21 inches.
  • Length back of neck to top of ribbed waistband: 18”
  • Underarm to waist: 8.5 inches to top of ribbed waistband, 12 inches to hem.
  • Sleeve: 8.5 inches long from shoulder, with 9 to 12 inch opening at bicep.
  • Shoulder to shoulder: 16 inches unstretched up to 19 max.
